MY ROOTS I am Planted inside the soil of Greatness and Humility From Headstart to Kawana Elementary, our Community that was centered around its youth. My Roots are strong and an infinite Beginning as an action to Civil Rights Advocating for the unheard the unseen voice at bay The seeds my family planted for me are here and staying Because inside of me lives the legacy that my grandparents, and family the ancestors, the ones before me, their mark was left for me Seeds metamorphized into the Roots that have sustained these grounds And as you witness the ones that came before us fighting on the forefront of the civil injustices standing up for the rights, even if just for one of our people...the Community we still cease to be unmoved These Roots have sprung into a grounded tree of fixtures with each member of the village influencing and reproducing each branch as the products of we.
